The Farmers Branch Cemetery, formerly known as Keenan Cemetery is reputed to be the oldest in Dallas County. It was established in 1843 and is still active to date.

In addition to the approximate 600 marked graves there are 100-200 unmarked graves or graves with just a stone or cement block.
