Using Masonic Records in Your Genealogy Research

Were your ancestors Masons? Join the Mesquite Historical and Genealogical Society on Thursday, September 14th, at 6:30 p.m. in the Mesquite Main Library (300 West Grubb Drive) to hear John Sellers, native Texan, explain how to use Masonic records in developing your family’s history. John will show us how to use the records and tell us all the information available in this source frequently overlooked by many researchers.

John, a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists, has over twenty years of both research and lecture experience. He was President of the Hopkins County Genealogical Society, and has been a national speaker for both FGS and NGS. Plus, he is a regional speaker throughout Texas, New Mexico, Arkansas and Louisiana.

The public is invited and welcome and you do not have to be a member to attend. Come early for visiting and refreshments.
