Our Summer Seminars are two days in length (Friday and Saturday) with two sessions in the morning and two sessions after lunch. They are held in the 1st floor auditorium at the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library.

Our 2015 event was titled ‘Researching Texas’ and will feature Terri Flack. We will also have speakers from the University of North Texas Portal of Texas History, NARA in Fort Worth, the General Land Office in Austin and the 7th Floor of the Dallas Public Library.

Topic: For Today’s Generation and Tomorrow’s: The Many Ways to Preserve Family History

As a special bonus for attendees, the Genealogy Division of the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library remained open Friday evening for the exclusive use of attendees. A light supper was provided by the DGS.
