This year we are raising funds to digitize and archive our Quarterly Journal that was published from 1955 through 1994. These publications document the early history of our society as well as the research contributed by our members throughout these formative years. Once digitized they will be archived and publicly available on the Portal to Texas History operated by the University of North Texas.

Thanks to our members and other supporters our 2017 campaign was a success!
- $1000 – Rescuing Texas History Mini Grant from the University of North Texas Libraries
- $ 800 – Donated in advance
- $2675 – Donations made on September 14
Donations can be made from 6 AM Central – Midnight using the Dallas Genealogical Society Giving Day Page (button below). We will be matching early donations up to the limit of our Matching Donations Fund.
If you are not going to be able to donate on September 14 you can schedule your donation between September 7 and 13. Your donation will automatically be posted on September 14.
Nonprofits that provided any level of matching funds in last years event raised an average of 20% more funds compared to nonprofits that did not provide matching funds.
Thanks to the generosity of our members and supporters we have collected $800 in donations for this years campaign. These funds will be applied on a dollar for dollar basis as matching funds for contributions made to this years North Texas Giving Day event.
